Let's try this again....

Alrighty!  I really am gonna try this again.  I want to be good at blogging, I just don't think of it often.

We are back in Utah!!! Triple YAY!  I am loving being back around family and around familiar places.  I am now mobile too!  We bought a minivan...WHAT?!?!  Did I just say that?  Uh sure did, we bought a minivan and I gotta say now that I am 7 months pregnant and having a hard time lifting the twins, uh Creigh mostly, it has been fabulous.  They can get in and out all by themselves.  I can strap them in super easily and we got an older model that has all the bells and whistles.  Never thought I would love having a minivan, but I do.

Steve has been working in Atlanta, Georgia for the last 2 1/2 weeks.  I am so beyond ready for him to be home.  Thankfully he is on the long drive back now and should be here tomorrow afternoon.  I have not enjoyed being a single parent.  I am exhausted and the twins need their daddy here.   They have had a really hard time adjusting to a new place and not having daddy here, they have been SUPER needy and clingy and it has about driven me completely nuts!  They freak out when I leave the room.  They think I am leaving them.  It has taken a toll on all of us.

Steve is no longer working for the alarm company.  We stressed over quiting because it pays so well but we felt like Heavenly Father was telling us not to go out to North Carolina.  Steve's boss was so wishy washy with things that we felt really uncomfortable about it.  While he was in Georgia several things happened that confirmed to us that we made the right choice leaving that company even though we are taking a huge cut in pay.. Steve will be working with a realtor that has started to flip houses and needs someone to do the remodels.  He has also applied for several other jobs, one in particular that we are hoping for. Let's keep our fingers crossed and our prayers full of purpose.    We are sure that Heavenly Father will guide us to the right job.

This pregnancy is going pretty well.  Our little guy has a good solid heartbeat and seems very active.  I can't wait to meet him, and not just because my body hates being pregnant :).
I have put a little too much stress on my body the last couple of weeks doing everything myself.  Had some Braxton Hicks contractions and shooting pains in the lower stomach muscles.  It's a good thing these little ones are so worth what we put our bodies through.

Well, that is enough for tonight.  I will try to get some Christmas pics up tomorrow.

Today I am thankful for bedtime.

I am not great at this blogging thing.....

Well, I hate that I am not good at blogging.  I just don't think of it often and life gets moving along pretty quick.
We have had a lot going on.  We decided to take a different job pretty suddenly.  We made the decision on a friday and needed to be in Austin, Texas the next thursday.  It was craziness!  Thankfully we had a lot of help from my family and from Steves sister Amy.
We are also expecting a baby.  I was pretty shocked when I found out since I was using an IUD at the time.  I was nervous at first but I have come to realize that this is what Heavenly Father wants for us and I am thankful to have another one of His special spirits join our little family. I have had some sickness, queaziness and unpleasant cramping but so far it is so much better than the twins pregnancy.  This little one is due to arrive April 7, 2012.

We still have another move to make to another apartment in about 2 weeks, ugh! I HATE moving!!!  The plan for now is to be here til mid December and then who knows.  It is still kind of up in the air.  I would really like to be settled but for now we need to follow the money.

This weekend we had General Conference and heard some really wonderful talks by inspired church leaders.  I love hearing all the talks and the boost of energy I feel and sense of new beginning.  I have so much to work on and do better but know that I am so blessed to have the knowledge that I have.

I am gonna work at being better at the blog thing. We will see how it goes...

Today I am thankful for inspired words of wisdom from church leaders.

It's been busy up in here....

Well, it has been crazy the last little while. Steve started a new job with a framing company.  It is a good thing and they really like him and want to put him in charge.  The only downside is they don't offer insurance, hopefully that will change.
We are busy helping my sister Shellee get ready for her wedding on the 13th of August.  We had a fun bridal shower here for her last weekend.  There is still so much to do in so little time.
The twins are full of it as usual.  Growing like crazy and talking so much, and talking back constantly!  We have fun playing everyday but they are wearing me out.
I have some projects I want to post about but haven't been able to upload the pics yet.  I will work on that this week.

Today I am thankful to know that our Heavenly Father is aware of us, our needs and wants.

Finally a pic of the hubs...

This is the day after we got engaged, which happened to be my birthday, in Niagra Falls.  It was a really fun trip, definately memorable.
Holding the twins in the NICU.  Steve is such a great dad.  I can't say enough good things about how wonderful he is with the twins and how much of a wonderful support he is to me.

Ok enough mushiness.

Today I am thankful for our health.

Meet the fam

This is Creighton D.  Or Creigh Dawg or Tank or Buddy. He has an incredible amount of energy and is a super tender little man.  He is very much like his dad and I love that.   He is constantly moving and playing but will randomly stop to give me lovies or snuggles for a second and then he is back at it.  He has the cutest little dimples that just make you wanna melt!

This is little miss Kyjah (soft J) Rae or Sissy Pie or Sweetness.  She is all girl.  Loves sparkly, pretty things and clothes and shoes....we are in for it.  She is also super tender.  She loves to keep busy too but she will sit with you and watch a show or just chill for a bit.  If she has a blanket and pillow she is good to go.  She is hilarious and totally cracks herself up all the time.  She is a little sassafrass and I love it.

For some reason I couldn't load my pic of the hubs but I will figure it out and load it later.

I saw on someone elses blog that they ended each post by saying something they are thankful for and I think that is a fantabulous idea so I am gonna try and do that.

Today I am thankful for naptime....

Well I finally gave in....

I've been thinking about starting a blog for a long time.  I don't even know what I'm doing so we'll see how this goes.  I'd like to blog about my crazy family and how busy the twins keep me and throw in some crafting projects here and there.
So, this is it for my first post.  I will be back soon!
